Judith is a Chartered Physiotherapist with special interests in the treatment of occupational related injuries, sports injuries and spinal pain. She has gained experience in both NHS hospitals and private physiotherapy clinics and was the team Physiotherapist at Edinburgh Academicals rugby club for 10 years.
In 1994 Judith trained to advanced level in the Neuromuscular Approach to Efficient Human Movement. She continues to teach this approach within a variety of workplaces to assist employers in the prevention of work related injuries. Many of her patients are also taught more balanced movement to enhance recovery and prevent injuries re-occurring. More recently Judith has undertaken training in the Bowen technique in order to further enhance her holistic approach to the assessment and treatment of injury.
Bryony is a Chartered Physiotherapist who started her professional life as a masseuse. She studied Massage at The Natural Therapeutics Research Centre in 1982, and ran her own practice before qualifying as a Chartered Physiotherapist at Nottingham in 1987. While working in the NHS her special interest was the treatment of patients undergoing spinal surgery, and outpatient neck and back problems. In 1993 she began to specialise in the ergonomics of human movement and has continued to work in this field. She now acts as an expert witness in manual handling cases for a number of solicitors in central Scotland.
Bryony has been an independent consultant and clinician since leaving the NHS in 2004 and has completed further training in The Craniosacral Technique and in the Bowen Technique. She now combines all these approaches to manage immediate pain and dysfunction, underpinning all treatments with a longer term postural and movement re-education programme the patient can do at home. She has been working with, and teaching massage to both Physiotherapists and Physiotherapy assistants for many years, and is also involved in the teaching of Manual Handling and Balanced Movement.

Stephen is the only Certified Metabolic Typing Advisor and Hair Tissue Mineral Analyst in Scotland and qualified to Advanced Level. As a Certified Functional Diagnostic Nutritionist, Stephen is also licensed to offer a variety of laboratory tests (e.g. hormone and allergy) to provide an even deeper understanding of each individual clients health status. He is accredited as an Advanced Instructor Level 3 by The Register of Exercise Professionals and a member of The National Register of Personal Trainers. Stephen has participated in athletics and amateur boxing. He formerly coached boxing whilst at university.
With over 15 years experience in Personal Fitness Training Stephen aims to reach client’s goals by striking a balance between fitness and nutrition. As a personal trainer, his objective is to give you the knowledge and necessary tools to live a healthy lifestyle. Help is provided to understand how exercise and diet can greatly improve your overall quality of life. Consistency will be required of you to maximise your success. He will be there to encourage you every step of the way.

Mick is a Chartered Physiotherapist specialising in fitness, dance
and karate. His high level participation in a variety of sports has led
him to develop a strong exercise theme to his treatment of patients.
Both dance and karate have instilled in him a belief in balance,
movement and correct alignment as the keys to physical health. Previous
experience includes designing exercise programmes for knee and back
rehabilitation, various disabilities and under-privileged children.
Mick gained a scholarship to the Royal Ballet and worked as a Professional Dancer & Choreographer for 13 years performing with various dance companies and worked on television. He opened his own dance school & dance company; teaching professional dancers, commercial pop groups and community dance. Mick has been a member of the British European karate team and taught karate to children. He is currently a keen snowboarder and mountain biker.
In the last five years, Lynne has specialised in women’s health problems, both obstetric and gynaecological. She specifically deals with the various problems related to pregnancy including the post-natal period, and with gynaecological problems such as urinary and faecal incontinence, prolapse and chronic pelvic pain.
Prior to specialising in women’s health, Lynne amassed a wealth of experience treating a range of musculoskeletal problems in a hospital out-patient setting. Her client’s problems ranged from simple acute injuries to complex chronic pain issues.
Lynne is an affiliated member of the A.C.P.W.H. and regularly attends courses specific to her speciality to continually enhance and expand her professional development. Lynne has recently qualified as a Bowen Therapist which has resulted in additional diversity in the range of treatments offered to her clients.

First trained in massage therapy in 1995 before re-training in the field of Osteopathy. In 2004 she qualified from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) in London. Whilst working she returned to BCOM to do a further specialist year subjects included paediatrics, nutrition and cranial osteopathy.
Lisa enjoys treating all age groups from babies through to the elderly but finds the treatment of children particularly rewarding. Her treatment plans are tailored to patient's individual needs and use a variety of techniques from musculoskeletal, visceral, cranial and modern acupuncture.

Karen has a wealth of experience in education, the development of people and is committed to helping others expand their learning. Her core values are that all people should be treated fairly and with respect. These values were intrinsic to her work in a variety of settings as a Head teacher, teacher, coach, mentor and facilitator of professional development for staff.
She trained as Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming and a Hypnotherapist... She is a Neuro Developmental Therapist and completed her studies at the Institute for Neuro- Physiological Psychology (INPP) and works to assist children and adults with specific learning difficulties and behavioural problems.
She also works on a voluntary basis with a project in Kenya supporting the schooling of orphans. She continues to raise the Kenyan teachers’ awareness through a training programme to the importance of movement in the learning process.
She is also a director of Kids NLP Scotland. The company has developed workshops for children and parents in the Edinburgh area, helping to develop more confident motivated kids. To date, she has successfully helped children with, confidence, low self-esteem, fears and phobias.
Sara has been involved in therapeutic massage since 2005 and is the founder and director of Edinburgh Massage Therapy. She trained in Cape Town with John Hooper where she completed a diploma in Therapeutic Massage. More recently she completed a course in Advanced Sports Massage provided by Mel Cash. She has worked at the World Masters Squash Championships in South Africa, the Caledonian Challenge in Scotland, and has much experience of working with sports people.
Sara comes to the field of bodywork after completing a BA (Hons) in Biological Sciences at Oxford University which she followed with 9 years of teaching experience in Southern Africa. Her love of human anatomy and physiology has helped her to treat patients with Asthma, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s, Cancer, Depression and many other pathologies.
Kathryn is a chartered member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and a full registered member with the International Federation for Professional Aromatherapists. She has been practising massage therapies since 2005 and completed post graduate studies in Complementary Medicine (Aromatherapy Massage) in 2006.
Kathryn is particularly interested in occupational health and well being. She also has a keen interest in body work and movement which is reflected in her love of sport and dance.
My interest in CBT was sparked when completing my Masters degree in Physiotherapy. I undertook a dissertation on CBT approaches to acute pain. I then decided to train as a CBT therapist. I completed a two year Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at Dundee University in 2005.
I now work within the NHS as a CBT therapist. My main interest and expertise is in the treatment of anxiety, depression and low self esteem. I am a member of the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP).
