It is the skilled application of a wide range of therapeutic techniques in the prevention, recognition and treatment of a sports injury and helps to maintain and improve fitness. Received regularly, this may help prevent injuries which can be caused by overuse. A constant build up of tension in the muscles from regular activity may lead to stresses on joints, ligaments, tendons, as well as the muscles themselves.These stresses can put you at risk of injury unless they are treated and addressed. You don’t have to partake in sports to benefit from a sports massage.
